Simon Brown: Attends the Standards Committee Meetings

Simon joined as Chair of Trustees when the WLT was formed in July 2017 and was previously the Chair of Glenthorne LGB.  He worked for the Metropolitan Police before retiring. He is the Chair of the Personnel Committee and is the Lead Safeguarding Trustee.

Marilyn Holness: Chair of Personnel Committee

Marilyn has been a Trustee since July 2017 and works as Professor of Education, Engagement and Practice at Roehampton University.  Marilyn is also Chair of the Standards committee and Trustee with SCITT oversight.  Previously Marilyn was a member of the Glenthorne LGB.

Steve Hume: CEO

Steve is the CEO and Accounting Officer and has been a Trustee since September 2017.  Steve was also previously Headteacher at Glenthorne High School. Steve is a member of all the Trust Committees.

Isabelle Paget: Chair or Aragon LGB

Isabelle is Chair of the Aragon LGB.  Isabelle has a background in safeguarding and child protection within the NHS and sits on the Trust Personnel Committee.

Mark Rosewell: Chair of Abbey LGB

Mark has a wealth of experience and knowledge in education, Starting out as a class teacher and moving through to become the CEO of a 5-school primary Trust.  Mark works as a consultant in Merton. He is a Chair of the Abbey LGB and a member of the Personnel and Standards Committee.

Grant Stonell: Chair of Finance Committee

Grant has been a Trustee since July 2017 and works as a qualified chartered accountant.  Grant was a former parent governor on the Aragon LGB and is the Chair of Finance and Premises committee.

Kevin Mohr: Chair of Glenthorne LGB

Kevin works for the Government and has a background in financial management and crisis management.  Kevin sits on the Trust Finance, Premises and Audit committee and has also been Honorary Secretary at Sutton & Epsom Rugby Club for the last 12 years.

Chris Ellis: Attends the Finance and Premises Committee

Chris is an accountant and has a background in public sector, media, real estate, and financial services.  He is also the Treasurer for Arts Network Sutton, a local charity supporting creative arts in the borough.
