Mark Rosewell (Chair) - has a wealth of experience and knowledge in education, Starting out as a  class teacher and moving through to become the CEO of a 5-school primary Trust.  He is now semi-retired.		Isabelle Paget (Chair) -  has a background in nursing and health visiting and also worked in safeguarding and child protection within the NHS.  Isabelle has been a governor with Aragon for over 13 years.
	Sarah Seal (Vice Chair) - Sarah has a background in finance and joined the Abbey LGB initially as a parent governor.  Sarah was co-opted to the Board in 2020.		Terry Daniels - has a financial background and was previously a local councillor, joining Aragon initially as a LA Governor, before moving to be a community governor.  Terry also served 4 years on the Glenthorne LGB from 2002-2006.
	Sumita Dutta - an Early Years Practitioner for the past 20 years. Sumita has a range of experiences and understanding on how appropriate support and education can have a positive impact on children’s learning and development. Sumita is the SEN Governor on the LGB.		Jamie Bailey - is a marketing specialist who has a background in Financial Services and Video Game Production.  He worked with a number of charities supporting local children before joining Aragon as a governor.
	Linda Hall was appointed as a community governor in September 2023. She has lived and worked in Sutton since 1973. Linda is an educational professional and has been a Headteacher and Educational Consultant. She retired in 2016 and is currently also a Trustee of PACE Academy Trust.		Bradley Coupar - is a Social Worker with over 30 years of experience supporting children, young people and adults with multiple complex needs.

	Jennie Farrell - has a son in Nursery at Abbey and a daughter in Y7 at Glenthorne.  Jennie has just joined the LGB as a parent governor last year and is excited to contribute to the work of the governors.		Gemma Fromage-Crawford - has 3 children, the eldest in year 1 at Aragon.  Gemma has been a pharmacist for the last 15 years and is also a qualified personal trainer.
	Abbey Azzopardi - has 2 children at Abbey and also attended the school herself! Abbey wants all children to achieve the very best they can, regardless of their educational needs or abilities.		Jerome Dussard-Mcfarlane - I have two children, with my eldest in reception at Aragon. I am an accountant with over 10 years experience and I am hoping to be able contribute as a parent governor using my finance experience, and in any other way possible.

Staff Governors  

	Aaron Tanner - Premises Manager since 2019, Aaron works to maintain and improve the image of the school, helping to create a wonderful environment for the staff, students and parents.		Amanda Curl - Works as a Reception teacher and is also the School Council Lead.  Amanda attended Aragon and Glenthorne herself as a child.
	Stephanie Collings - DSL and Assistant SENCo, Stephanie works with families, parents, carers and children in the school to enable children to have full access to educational opportunities.		Adrian Hennessey - After 30+ years in the print industry, Adrian changed his occupation & has now been the site manager at Aragon for over 12 years.

	Laura Dalton (Chair) - Laura has a background in HR and school governance having worked as HR Manager and Clerk to Trustees/Governors at Glenthorne before joining the governing body when she retired in 2018.		Tom Berry -
	Kevin Mohr (Vice Chair) - works for the Government and has a background in financial management and crisis management.  Kevin sits on the Trust Finance, Premises and Audit committee and has also been Honorary Secretary at Sutton & Epsom Rugby Club for the last 12 years.		Becky Shaw - A lecturer and researcher in Higher Education, teaching Fine Art.  Becky has became a governor to help contribute to the development of the Arts at Glenthorne and support creative environments.
	Helen Young - Helen was appointed as a governor in 2023. She was previously lead presenter at the BBC Weather Centre. Helen has completed the London Marathon and raised £5000 for charity. Helen now works for the PWLC and gives assemblies and speeches on sustainability.		Henry Lee - A senior lecturer in Environmental Quantum Microbiology and Biotechnology.  From an engineering and science background, Henry is a keen advocate for the progression of STEM subjects at Glenthorne.
	Chris Ellis - is an accountant and has a background in public sector, media, real estate, and financial services.  He is also the Treasurer for Arts Network Sutton, a local charity supporting creative arts in the borough.		DQ Nguyen -  A parent of 5 children, 3 of whom are at Glenthorne, DQ is a chartered accountant by training, with experience as a finance director.  DQ advocates for not only the financial, but also the social and educational responsibilities of the school.
	Trevor Knight OBE - A Glenthorne governor for 16 years since his retirement as Executive Head of Library, Heritage and Registration Services for the London Borough of Sutton. Trevor has held the posts of Member and Trustee of the WLT and is currently Chair of the Glenthorne Curriculum Committee.
	Cecilia Beyefeld - Cecilia was appointed as a parent governor in 2022. Cecilia is an educational professional and has worked in in education for 24 years and is currently a Deputy Head in a Primary School in London. As a Safeguarding and Mental Health Lead, she is passionate about the welfare and wellbeing of children and young people in an ever-increasing complex world.

Alice Miller - Alice has been at Glenthorne since 2016. She has taught Science and Sociology. She has been a Head of Year since 2020.

Lucas Maxwell - Lucas has been Librarian at Glenthorne for the last decade, supporting the development of reading. He has a passion for books and encourages reading in a variety of creative ways. Lucas was awarded the prestigious Librarian of the Year award 5 years ago.
